Ecopetrol Strengthens Community Management in Yopal with Delivery of Equipment and Furniture.

Ecopetrol has delivered furniture and equipment to five Community Action Boards of the sidewalks El Palmar, Lemon bush, Short Stick, Villa del Carmen and Florena of the township Lemon bush in Yopal.

The objective of this delivery is to promote the development of the communities that are part of the area of ​​influence of the Ecopetrol projects in Casanare, providing them with tools that allow them to strengthen their community management. Ecopetrol’s investment in this initiative is part of the Program to Benefit Communities (PBC)from the E&P agreement in the Piedemonte area, selected through a participatory planning exercise and which aims to transform the lives of the communities, providing tools to strengthen their leadership activities.

The endowment includes 103 elementsincluding desktop and laptop computers, multifunctional printers, ergonomic chairs, desks, filing cabinets, fans, television, video beam, sound booth, microphones, printer ink kits and Microsoft Office packages, electric pressure washer, industrial refrigerator, ecological points , among others.

“We are going to benefit from them, since they give us a computer, a printer, equipment that we did not have. Now for one, printing is easier, we don’t have to travel to certain places to be able to do our jobs,” he commented. In this way, Ecopetrol ratifies its commitment to the sustainable development of the territories where it operates.
