In an event organized by the Argentine Society of Writers Catamarca branch, next Thursday at 7:30 p.m. The book “Formados para la Unidad Regional – El Seminario Mayor Regional del Norte de Nuestra Señora del Valle” by Juan Lorenzo Aybar will be presented in the “Calchaquí” Hall of the “Esquiú” Cultural Complex.
Mr. Víctor Russo will open the event on behalf of SADE and then, in dialogue with the author Hilda Angélica García, he will refer to the content of the work. The meeting will close with a performance by the Municipal Ballet directed by Víctor Aybar. The conduction will be by Mariana Ventrice.

Regarding the content of the book, the author tells us that there are no writings about the seminaries of the Church in Argentina. These are houses that formed the future priests of this institution. Those that exist are owned by particular churches, that is, diocesan. This work is concerned with recovering for collective memory the existence of the Northern Regional Major Seminary of Nuestra Señora del Valle in the city of Catamarca, which operated between 1932 and 1962. It was a unique experience in Argentina.
