The Government of Antioquia reported that through the Ministry of Environment and Sustainability and other allied entities The Sea Turtle, Blue Crab and Beach Fair was held in the municipality of Necoclí, in Urabá, Antioquia, as part of the celebration of World Environment Day.
They add that in said fair, which will last three days, Spaces were installed for co-creation and social appropriation of knowledge through environmental education, will also be carried out recreational-pedagogical activities for children and adults.
In this regard, this is what Jimmy Collazos Franco, Secretary of Environment and Sustainability of Antioquia, said: “at the sea turtle, blue crab and beach fair We are going to have activities such as movies at night, beach cleaning and environmental education. All this in the context of having much more sustainable ecosystems in the department of Antioquia.”.
On its first date, Wednesday, June 5, there were information stands from the participating entities in the Mar de Laughter Educational Park and night cinema on Primavera beach. On Thursday, June 6, awareness-raising and recreational-pedagogical activities are carried out in rural educational institutions in the municipality; and on Friday there will be a cleaning day on El Totumo beach from 7:00 am – 12:00 m.
