In its second edition, Valledupar will host the Valledupar Book Fair, Felva, an academic and cultural event that will take place from June 6 to 9 in different settings in the Historical Center of the capital of Cesar, which is organized by the newspaper EL PILÓN – journalistic beacon of the region that accumulates 30 years of experience bringing objectivity, truthfulness and accuracy to its readers – and the Mayor’s Office of Valledupar with the support of companies and entities in the region.

Among the writers invited to Felva, the presence of authors such as: the Minister of Cultures, Arts and Knowledge, Juan David Correa; Mario Mendoza, Sergio Fajardo, Alejandro Gaviria, Santiago Gamboa, Flavia Dos Santos, Linda Palma, León Valencia, Luisa Villa, Juan Manuel Roca, María Jimena Duzán, María Teresa Egurrola, María Teresa Aya, Eva Muñoz, Julio Oñate Martínez, Rafael Manjarrez , president of Sayco; Maribel Abello, Ariel Castillo Mier, María Eugenia Castro, cultural manager and founding director of the Museum of Modern Art of Barranquilla, MAMB; and Diana Acosta, executive director of MAMB, among other local, national and regional guests.

The literary event, which will be free for visitors, will have an itinerant essence, based on supporting and being supported by citizens, with a packed agenda made up of more than 40 activities and 90 guests, deployed over the four days in different points of the city, such as: the House of Culture, Banco de la República, the Historic Center of Valledupar, Gimnasio del Norte, Leandro Díaz Auditorium of the Chamber of Commerce, Macondo auditorium of the University Foundation of the Andean Area, University Santander, UDES and Plaza Alfonso López, among other places.
