lPuerto Coronelaccording to the last measurement of the Container Port Performance Index (CPPI)prepared by World Bank and S&P Global Market Intelligence, It was -in 2023- the most efficient in Chile.

According to the analysis, which included the review of data that considered 182 thousand ship calls and 238.2 million movements, equivalent to 381 million TEUs, this Bio Bio port complex was ranked number 97 out of a total of 405 .

The general ranking, it is worth mentioning, is led by the Chinese port of Yangshan and closed in last place by Cape Town, in South Africa.

The next Chilean port to appear on the list is San Antonio, which occupied box 110 in the measurement, while Valparaíso appeared in 151.
