The Fourth Permanent Constitutional Commission of the Senate of the Republic has announced the holding of a decentralized session in the district of Guaimaro, municipality of Salamina, Magdalena, on June 14. The session will take place at the Casa Grande de los Caraballos, located on Calle 10 with Carrera 5, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm

The main purpose of this event is to address the problems of secondary and tertiary roads in the region, and how these affect the rural economy. The lack of adequate infrastructure has limited movement and land communication, negatively impacting the economic dynamics of the department.

The session seeks to generate a space for dialogue and cooperation between national and local authorities, the private sector, economic unions and representative communities to find effective solutions. Among the notable attendees are the Minister of Finance and Public Credit, Ricardo Bonilla González; the Minister of Transportation, William Camargo Triana; and the General Director (e) of Invias, María Constanza García Alicastro.

In addition, senior government officials will participate, such as the Director of the National Planning Department, Alexander López; the Director of the National Infrastructure Agency, Francisco Ospina Ramírez; and the Director of the National Disaster Risk Management Unit, Carlos Carrillo. Also invited were the Minister of Agriculture, Catalina Velazco Campuzano; the Minister of Health and Social Protection, Guillermo Alonso Jaramillo; and the Minister of Environment and Sustainable Development, María Susana Muhamad González, among others.
