The Comprehensive Medical Care Program (PAMI) confirmed new modifications in the requirements to access free medications for retirees and pensioners, starting in June.

Through the official website of the social work, they detailed what the conditions will be so that members can request 100% coverage of the remedies found on the list.

The national organization modified the maximum income limit that retirees and pensioners must have to access full coverage of the remedies.

Starting in June, holders with incomes of less than $200,000 will be able to receive a 100% discount on medications. Especially if 5% or more of your assets are allocated to your purchase.

This exemption also includes people who receive minimum and average pensions. However, they must complete an in-person procedure at the PAMI offices with the corresponding documents.

Retirees and pensioners who are affiliated with social work and meet the requirements will not have to carry out any additional procedures.

They will only have to present the following documentation at the time of obtaining the benefit:

PAMI provides a list of 300 free medications that retirees and pensioners who are part of the social work can access.

However, each beneficiary may request full coverage of up to five remedies per month and then obtain other active ingredients at discounts.
