The Libertarian Party, which has been working since 2019 to consolidate itself as a political alternative in Chubut, is in an important stage of its formation. Diego Larumbe, representative of the party, explained to journalist Rodrigo Mansilla on INVINCIBLES on FM EL CHUBUT that they are in the process of submitting affiliations to obtain definitive status.
“We have been working for some time now, since 2019, more or less, to be able to offer citizens an alternative that agrees with the ideas of freedom,” commented Larumbe.
He also mentioned that they are currently in the affiliation presentation phase to obtain the definitive status that “will be the electoral vehicle and the possibility of competing in 2025,” he stated.
The Libertarian Party already has a presence in several Argentine provinces, including Buenos Aires, Catamarca, Córdoba, Corrientes, La Pampa, La Rioja, Mendoza, San Juan, Santa Fe, Santiago del Estero and Tierra del Fuego. Regarding their growth in Chubut, Larumbe indicated that they are finding a favorable reception among citizens. “Older people and good young people, who perhaps because of their affinity with the figure of Javier Milei and because they understand that the Libertarian Party is a party that in part refers to the figure of Javier, a little with the same ideas, the young people too they add up,” he explained.
The next step for the party will be to present these affiliations before the Electoral Justice on the 18th of this month, which will allow them to advance in the formalization process. “On the 18th we are going to be present at the Electoral Justice to present and be able to comply with part of the requirements established by the law, which is the presentation of affiliations,” said Larumbe. The same day on which César Treffinguer and Karina Milei will also appear before the Electoral Justice for another reason.
With an eye on the 2025 elections, the Libertarian Party in Chubut hopes to consolidate its presence and offer an option based on the ideas of freedom, following the line of thought of leaders like Javier Milei.
