The agreement will allow Internship II students of the UCSE-DASS Law degree to carry out internships in different areas of the Public Ministry of Defense.

The Public Ministry of Defense (MPD) and the San Salvador de Jujuy Academic Department of the Catholic University of Santiago del Estero signed an agreement today that will allow formalizing actions of mutual complementation and cooperation for the realization of professional internships aimed at students of the career. of Law of said university institution.

The signing of the agreement was carried out between the General Defender of the MPD, Dr. María Gabriela Burgos, and the Dean of the UCSE-DASS, Dr. Marcelo Brunet. They were accompanied by the Deputy Defender, Dr. Guido Matías Luna, and the Coordinator of the Official Public Defender’s Office for Social Legal Assistance, Dr. Jorge Abud.

Regarding the agreement, the Ombudsman General pointed out that “the purpose of the agreement is for the students of the Law School at UCSE-DASS to be able to do internships within the Public Ministry of Defense. We also discussed the possibility of working together on training that is extremely necessary for the improvement that is required and demanded today in the academy and in the service provided by the MPD.”

Along the same lines, Dr. Marcelo Brunet, maintained: “This space of professionalizing practices is specifically intended for Practices II, they are practices oriented to different areas of the lawyer’s profession. As we talked about while signing the agreement, the practice of litigation is extremely important for the profession, so we believe that our students will know how to take advantage of it.”
