The Mayor’s Office of Valledupar, Asocapitales and the State Legal Agency will hold the National Congress of Public Legal Management in the capital of Cesar this Friday, June 21, which will have a diverse agenda to address three thematic axes that will involve the development of components practical theory on the regulations of the subject.

The academic space, which will be in the Crispín Villazón Auditorium of the Cesar Family Compensation Fund, starting at eight in the morning, will have a broad illustration of topics such as ‘Legal defense as a transversal axis of the territorial public administration’; and ‘Towards efficient public legal management and public legal management in the digital era’.

A highly qualified panel will develop this agenda that will bring together legal and treasury officials from the country’s capital cities to raise awareness among municipal and district administrations about the importance of carrying out an adequate transition towards public legal management.

GUESTS AND MODERATORS

The moderation will include figures such as Mauricio González Cuervo, expert in Constitutional Law, magistrate and president of the Constitutional Court, who will alternate with Paula Robledo Silva, Legal Secretary of the Presidency; Henry Amorocho Moreno, expert in Finance, Public Budget and Public Management; and Carlos Mario Isaza, jurist with more than 30 years of experience, on Legal Defense as a transversal axis of the Territorial Public administration.

Other experts on the subject will also arrive in the capital of Cesar, including Jhon Jairo Camargo Motta, director of the National Agency for Legal Defense of the State; Liliana Caballero, former Secretary General of the Mayor’s Office of Bogotá; Ana María Ramos Serrano, Assistant Magistrate of the Constitutional Court; Erick Rincón Cárdenas, director of TicTank, Thinking Center for Innovation at the Universidad del Rosario; Nicolás Lozada Pimiento CEO and founder of Redek; Héctor Riveros Serrato, expert lawyer in governance and public management, among others.

At the level of guests, the presence of the Attorney General of the Nation, Margarita Cabello Blanco, was confirmed; the former Ombudsman, Carlos Camargo Assis; the mayors of Cali, Alejandro Eder; from Valledupar, Ernesto Orozco Durán; the governor of Cesar, Elvia Milena Sanjuán; the director of Asocapitales, Luz María Zapata Zapata and legal teams from the municipal administrations in Bogotá, Medellín, Bucaramanga and Riohacha.

It will be the first time that an event of this nature is held in Valledupar, showing that the city is attractive for this type of comprehensive scenarios.
