In a vast operation that included more than 16 towns in the interior of Formosa, the delegations of that province and Corrientes detected a community where Argentine citizens did not have the national identity document.

The Delegation of the National Directorate of Migration in Formosa, in coordination with inspectors from the Corrientes Delegation, carried out 50 operations inside the province using the official mobile phone of the local office.

The controls covered the municipalities of El Colorado, Villa Dos Trece, Pirané, Comandante Fontana, Pozo del Tigre, Lomitas, Ingeniero Juárez, Los Chiriguanos, Laguna Yema, Ibarreta, Bartolomé de las Casas, Los Matacos, Palo Santo, Villafañe and El Colorado . These took place between June 11 and 15 of the same month.

Citizens of Argentine, Chinese, Paraguayan, Colombian and Bolivian nationality were surveyed, where it was found that the majority had their residence regularly, while a record was drawn up for foreigners who were irregular.

The surprise of the inspectors was to find a community of aboriginals in the municipality of Laguna Yema where its members did not have ID despite being Argentine citizens.
