Next Saturday, La Renga will play at the Mario Alberto Kempes stadium in a concert that José Palazzo himself defined as “historic” due to its characteristics.
The Mataderos group will perform at the major sports coliseum in Cordoba for the fourth time and will do so with a very special setting, which includes the stage in the center of the field and a panoramic view from the four sectors of the venue.
As part of the advance ahead of the show, the band of Gustavo “Chizzo” Napoli, the brothers Tete and Tanque Iglesias and the harmonica player and saxophonist Manu Varela have already settled in Córdoba and did so in a very special way.
As Palazzo shared on his Instagram stories, some of the musicians and technicians who are part of the band’s work team showed up at the Kempes in the form of a motorcycle caravan. “We arrived, we are already in Córdoba. La Renga has arrived,” says the producer while filming the particular entrance to the property by the group’s entourage.
“We are already here at the Mario Kempes, all the girls,” adds the owner of En Vivo productions while the roar of the engines of at least eight motorcycles that can be seen in the record can be heard.
In this way, La Renga replicated what can be seen in Totally possessedthe film released months ago in which the band shows a similar tour through different parts of Argentina as part of the tour in which they presented their album Off the grid.
As with other recent shows, the band is also expected to enter the stage in these types of vehicles.
In parallel, production reported that there is still a remnant of Gasparini stalls but that both the field and the Ardiles stalls no longer have available locations.
For La Renga, it will be the fourth show in that same stadium, where they already played in 2003, 2008 and 2016. The price of tickets is $33 thousand plus service charge. They can be purchased at the band’s official store and at the respective physical points of sale.
