Within the framework of the “Open Doors” program, together with students, teachers, collaborators, ecclesiastical authorities, representatives of related institutions and members of the entire community, the documentary was presented that narrates the Faith adventure of five Duoc UC chaplains in their pilgrimage to the Holy Land just at the moment the current war broke out in the Middle East.

A large crowd came to the Duoc UC Extension Center Valparaíso Headquarters for the premiere of the Short Film “Tras las Huellas de Jesús”, on Wednesday, June 19, where attendees were able to see this documentary in which the chaplains of the institution carried out a pilgrimage of Faith to the Holy Land at a time when Israel falls under attack and declares a State of War.

The short film was witnessed by authorities of the bishopric and the church, headed by the Vicar General of Valparaíso, Father Reinaldo Osorio, representatives of related institutions and educational establishments; collaborators, teachers, students and members of the community through the cultural billboard of the Cousiño Building, who were also able to participate in the exhibition of the PhD in History and expert in Middle Eastern affairs, Fernando Wilson, who addressed historical and current background contextualizing the conflict that is being experienced today and then gives way to a conversation with the General Chaplain of Duoc UC, Francisco Llanca.
