Inside a home located on 21st Street and 2nd Street, Las Casitas Blancas neighborhood, in the municipality of Sabanalarga, the body of a lifeless man was found by citizens when it was past 3:00 in the morning on Saturday the 22nd. of June. The incident was attended to by the Atlántico Police Department.
According to the story of the owner of the home where the deceased was found, when she entered her home at the aforementioned time, she noticed the death of the victim, who had arrived from Barranquilla three days ago and was staying in the house. .
The woman, without letting much time pass, went to the headquarters of the Attorney General’s Office in Sabanalarga to report what happened.
“The SIJIN and CTI criminal investigation group traveled to the indicated place, who carried out the technical inspection of the corpse and collected evidentiary material that will allow us to clarify this crime,” stated in the reports from the authorities.
The Atlantic Police assure that the deceased has not yet been fully identified. He was transferred to Forensic Medicine to determine the same.
It is noteworthy that the body recorded a gunshot wound to the head. Something that would point to the possible cause of his death, the armed institution stated.
