When will the cold arrive in the Metropolitan Region? — Future Chile

After the frontal system that affected six regions of the country, new rains will arrive in Santiago during the next week according to the Chilean Meteorological Directorate.

This is not everything. The DMC projected a decrease in minimum temperatures for the next few days in the Metropolitan Region, which could reach -3 degrees.

According to the DMC, the minimums will be lower for much of the week, however, the most pronounced decrease will be felt this Wednesday, June 26.

Cold in Santiago: When will the degrees reach below zero?

In sectors such as Colina or Quilicura, the minimum will be only 1 degree, as in central Santiago or in the southern area of ​​the Metropolitan Region.

While in San José de Maipo, thermometers could read up to -3 °C.

The rains will return to Santiago during the afternoon of Monday, June 24, and will extend until the morning of Tuesday, the 25th.

For those days, minimums of only 4 degrees are expected, while maximums will not exceed 10 degrees.

Meanwhile, the Accuweather site details that it will rain intermittently throughout Monday starting at noon, and will end around 4:00 am on Tuesday, according to ADN.cl.
