The Zasca Reindustrialization Centers will be a reality in the Coffee Axis – Chamber of Commerce of Manizales por Caldas

The Chamber of Commerce of Manizales por Caldas (CCMPC), currently has an agreement with iNNpulsa Colombia for the operation of the strategy called “Reindustrialization Centers – Zasca” in the Coffee Axis, through which the operation of seven of them will be carried out with a focus on productive vocation in the following sectors and departments:

Zasca Productive Vocation:

  • Zasca Manufacturing: Risaralda and Caldas
  • Zasca Metalworking: Risaralda and Caldas
  • Zasca Agroindustry: Risaralda, Quindío and Caldas

For the launch of each of the reindustrialization centers, allies from the coffee triangle have been identified, who will implement the strategy, specifically the Zasca Metalmecánico in Caldas, which will be led by the CCMPC.

This initiative will be developed for two years, divided into four cohorts of six months each, and it is expected to have 1,080 beneficiaries at the end of the process.

These centers are specialized physical spaces equipped for the strengthening of MSMEs, located in areas where there is an agglomeration of businesses with a productive vocation in the prioritized sectors of the territory; These will also allow the improvement of companies’ products and services, in addition to updating processes that are required to increase productivity that many of them cannot achieve individually with their own resources.

Olga Idárraga Bedoya, director of Business Development of the CCMPC, assures: “We will accompany entrepreneurs for around 90 hours in order to improve productive issues, community development, commercial and also being, that is why in the next few days we will have the open call”.

Through the strategy, we will contribute to the mitigation of closing gaps identified in the Coffee Axis, through specialized technical training, access to technologies and commercial and relationship spaces.
