Goity: “The Central Region allows us a federal policy with a focus on learning”

Within the framework of the Central Region chaired by the governor of Santa Fe, Maximiliano Pullaro, this Monday the Ministers of Education of Santa Fe, José Goity; from Córdoba, Horacio Ferreyra; and the head of the General Council of Education of Entre Ríos, Alicia Fregonese, signed the minutes that established the Permanent Board of Education. The meeting took place at the Government House of Córdoba and was attended by representatives of the Executive Board of the Central Region: for Santa Fe, Claudia Giaccone; for Córdoba, Juan Carlos Massei; and for Entre Ríos, Jorge Chemes.

The signing of the document that constituted the table was preceded by work in commissions made up of officials from each of the Ministries of Education of the three provinces, who addressed the central public policies for Santa Fe, Entre Ríos and Córdoba with topics such as literacy; care of the trajectory and evaluation; teacher training; education, work and production.

“A leap in quality”

In this context, the Minister of Education of Santa Fe, José Goity, stated that “This is a leap in institutional quality for us who are public managers and who make public policy. These types of tools and instruments serve us a lot because they allow us to have a clear view and federal policy” and in that sense he recognized that “we must focus on learning and the system. We as a government intend to govern and organize an educational system, and an important part is to put order to the system based on an objective that is learning.” .

Next, the head of the educational portfolio of Córdoba, Horacio Ferreyra, stressed the importance of “consolidating achievements and carrying out the necessary transformations. Uniting all this leads us to great changes, because we begin to see that what was done on one side can go in another and vice versa”.

Likewise, the head of the General Council of Education of Entre Ríos, Alicia Fregonese, highlighted that in the province “today we have a great challenge which is the evaluation of students, knowing the system and what happens. We understand that literacy is the door to other knowledge and for this we took into account the education map: what the system needs to have so that that student can complete his career, be a good citizen, can get a job or continue his studies.

Education as state policy

Later, the coordinator of the Executive Committee of the Central Region, Claudia Giaccone, stressed the importance of “having a univocal voice in what the region holds and thinks. We want to generate a joint mechanism of statistics, data, processes and evaluations related to the topic educational and productive to work forward”.

For his part, the representative of Córdoba on the Executive Board of the Central Region, Juan Carlos Massei, highlighted the existence of “a very important will of the three governors so that this is consolidated, that the integration of the Central Region is truly a integration that allows us to carry out products from each of the areas that allow us to improve the quality of life of our neighbors.

Finally, the representative of the Executive Board for Entre Ríos, Jorge Chemes, stated that education is “the tool that makes us all equal, that strengthens the development of human beings and that allows them to carry out the objectives that are set.” .

With federal imprint
