There will be a new day center for homeless people in the Center

A new day center for homeless people will be integrated into the assistance network of the Municipality of Córdoba from the Secretariat of Social Policies and Human Development.

It will be located in the old Foundation for Ablation and Transplantation (Fundayt) at 272 Arturo M. Bas Street in the Capital.

Mayor Daniel Passerini toured the facilities of the new day center together with the Archbishop of Córdoba, Ángel Rossi, the priest Javier Soteras, the secretary Raúl La Cava and the president of the Catholic Circle of Workers of Córdoba, Fernando García Sagués.

In the coming months, a new day center will be inaugurated in the city of Córdoba.

The foundation’s land was donated to the local archbishopric, who made it available for this project.

Maintenance tasks are in their final stages and it is expected to be put into operation in the coming months.

The place has two dining rooms, a chapel at the entrance and six showers; among other provisions. It will have an interdisciplinary team that will address assistance to people experiencing homelessness.
