Justice charged Carlos Guido Pérez from San Juan with the crime of recruiting people for the purposes of exploitation, aggravated by the fact that the victim was under 18 years of age as material co-author. They blame the same on his wife and the first three detainees, but as primary participants. Meanwhile, Commissioner Walter Maciel is accused of covering up.

According to sources in the case, the six defendants refused to testify. After that, prosecutors decided to change the suspects’ charges.

In addition to the fact that the commissioner was accused of having covered up Loan’s disappearance, the rest of the detainees were identified as the people who captured the 5-year-old boy for exploitation purposes.

The Goya Guarantees Judge, Darío Ortiz, confirmed that he issued preventive detention without a deadline for the detained couple and the commissioner, accused of recruiting a minor for the purpose of trafficking.

At the same time, Ortíz announced that he had to define the incompetence of the provincial Justice in favor of the federal one. He later confirmed that he decided to send the file to the Federal Justice, which must accept jurisdiction.
