From the department of La GuajiraThe chancellor Luis Gilberto Murillo reported that Colombia will request that Venezuela return to the Andean Communitywith the aim of facilitating the entry of Venezuelan citizens into the country without needing a passport and only using the identity document.

“Colombia will be pro tempore president of the Andean Community, and the goal is that Venezuela can return to the Communitycontinue working with Chile so that we can have that axis where people can move around simply with their identity documents from their countries,” added the foreign minister.

It is worth remembering that, Colombia is preparing to become the epicenter of regional and bi-regional integration in the next three years.

Right at this time, the country will assume roles in various regional forums that will be aimed at strengthening cooperation and building unity in Latin America and the Caribbean.
