The first big day will be tomorrow, Thursday, June 27, which includes the opening ceremony scheduled for 5:45 p.m. with a surprise artist.

Holika will also feature Álvaro Díaz, Paopao, Alvama Ice, Aleesha and Soge Culebra, among other performers on the main stage (Negrita Stage) in the cathedral parking lot. In the secondary stage (Cutty Sark Stage, in a plot close to the main stage) Angerfist, Garabatto, Blondex and Skryption stand out.

On this occasion, a new feature of the festival is the sending of access bracelets in advance to the homes of attendees. This is intended to avoid traffic jams and queues forming at the entrances on the first day.

Both general and VIP passes have been sold out for days. Daily tickets for all three days are available at www.holika.es.

One of the improvements that Holika presents is the VIP area, larger and with a new location. Another is the bathroom space.

In addition to today’s welcome party, the organization (Burcor Producciones) offers numerous parallel activities in the city such as the vermouth and afternoon sessions at the Mercadal kiosk, from 12:00 to 18:00, on Friday the 28th and Sunday the 29th in collaboration with the bars and hospitality in the area, with local DJs.

Another essential moment that is repeated from previous editions stands out, the ‘Pool Party’, at the La Planilla sports complex, on Friday the 29th, from 12:00 to 17:00. The public will be able to cool off in the pool and gain strength for the festival to the rhythm of artists such as Beginni, Giovanni, Íñigo Pérez, Padilla or Santos García. In addition, passes with access to the pools for three days are available at www.holika.es.

The program is completed with parades themed about the Roman era with the aim of creating a synergy between the history of the two-thousand-year-old city, music and the performing arts.

The parallel program will include activities at the Fuente de los 13 Caños (Poliakov Stage) with local artists and presentations by Rioja entrepreneurs and the intervention to create a large live mural on the internal facades and elements of the facilities of the company Hormigones Calahorra Aexnor ( in the surroundings of the Holika venue) which, led by the artist Albert Sesma, will become the great photocall of the festival.

Burcor, which has the collaboration of the Calahorra City Council for this great event, has everything ready for this sixth edition of Holika that will bring more than 75 national and international artists with names of global impact such as the aforementioned Myke Towers, Jhayco, Bryant Myers , Paopao, Tainy, Aleesha, Álvaro Díaz, Dei V or Stella Bossi, among many others.

Among the complementary events, a novelty consists of the Holysing, presented by the cathedral as a Christian alternative for young people who attend Holika. There will be guided tours Thursday, Friday and Saturday to get to know this historical monument, at 12:00 p.m. Both on Thursday and Friday at 12:00 the ‘Bars and Guitars’ connection jam will be held in the hall of the Episcopal Palace (cathedral square) between the artists Aisha and Chito Morales and the public.

They will also perform at 4:00 p.m. in the square and at that time the Palace hall will be a space for rest, cell phones can be charged, drink water and there will be Kahoot contests in small groups.
