Calls are open for the cultural sector of Valledupar

The Mayor’s Office of Valledupar, through the Culture Office, announced the approval of two important calls that will be open from June 24 to July 3 and seek to preserve the cultural heritage and strengthen the identity of the city as an institutional policy. of the government of Ernesto Orozco Durán.

The calls were recently approved in a session of the Parafiscal Contribution Committee, as revealed by the head of the Culture Office, Yanelis González, when detailing the impact that these initiatives will have in the capital of Cesar.

“We want to give this great news to the entire cultural sector of the performing arts in Valledupar. “In this session, two cultural projects have been approved, which will have an investment of around $400 million.”

A first initiative, called ‘Old Valledupar Night’, has a budget allocation of $65,000,000. Three incentives will be awarded, each worth $21,666,666, aimed at cultural managers over 60 years of age, whose proponents will be legal entities with a PULEP code or natural persons.

The municipal Minister of Culture, Jaivis Fernando Andrade, expressed his joy with these approvals, acknowledging: “We are very happy with these two calls, because they will benefit many of the cultural creators of the municipality of Valledupar. These teachers are finally going to have a stimulus that will recognize their contribution and talent.”

The second call, called ‘Valledupar en Escena’, which aims to strengthen the local cultural scene, providing a space for artists to connect, collaborate and grow professionally, has an investment of $371,454,915 and 30 incentives will be awarded , distributed as follows: 15 prizes for music groups, 10 prizes for dance groups and five prizes for theater groups, including each incentive amounting to $12,381,530.5.
