The head of Government said that there are “many opportunities that we can think about together” between the GCBA and the private sector.

The Head of Government of the City of Buenos Aires, Jorge Macri, spoke at the new edition of the Annual Convention of the Argentine Chamber of Construction (CAMARCO), in Rural de Palermo (Comuna 14) and asked businessmen to invest in more works for the southern area of Buenos Aires.

He proposed to those present that they be “allies” to bring development to the entire City. And he explained: “We committed to the neighbors to do it especially in the southern area. There are many opportunities there that we can think about together, such as the reconversion of the Olympic Village, the Autodrome, the Lower Bosch Bridge, the Larrazábal del Belgrano Sur Underpass and the spaces that will be the scene of major events in the City.”

“We are experiencing a change of era. It is a pivotal moment, which requires patience and effort and which, in turn, symbolizes a genuine opportunity to move forward together. With greatness and without pettiness,” she emphasized.

The head of Government was accompanied by Gustavo Weiss (President of CAMARCO) and Gerardo Martínez (Construction Workers’ Union), among other representatives of the sector, unionism, the Government and civil society. Also by the Secretary General and International Relations of the City, Fulvio Pompeo.

“We are experiencing a change of era. It is a pivotal moment, which requires patience and effort and which, in turn, symbolizes a genuine opportunity to move forward together. With greatness and without pettiness,” Jorge Macri emphasized.

The head of Government assured that we are living in a time of “crisis and change of era”: “We are going through a complex and delicate economic context. The fall in economic activity, price instability and delays in the payment chain hit them hard. And even more so in the last year, with the 36% drop in cement consumption. Despite the difficult situation, they never give up. And it is time for Argentina to be better.”
