This decision occurred as a result of the embarrassing event that occurred while Camarillo was standing in line at immigration after arriving in the country on November 24, 2022. After exchanging a few words with Sánchez, the confrontation began that ended in the kick and the fist. that the official gave to the passenger, and for which he had been provisionally suspended for three months while the facts were investigated.
According to the story that Camarillo gave after what happened, Everything would have occurred after requesting information from Sánchez about alleged problems with the biometric identification machine that is used to speed up the entry process of travelers into the country.but instead of receiving guidance what the user ended up receiving was several blows after exchanging words (profane according to the public ministry).
As a result of the attacks, Sánchez caused injuries to Camarillo “that generated a definitive medical-legal disability of 5 days.”
In addition to the above, the Attorney General’s Office established that The official would have used his position to attack the travelerwhose purpose was only to obtain help to complete his immigration process, but instead he received a lack of respect from Sánchez, affecting the values or principles of the public service, and the achievement of the goals of the State, added the entity.
At that time Camarilla, an electrical engineer by profession, asked the justice system to speed up the case and assured: “We hope that justice acts. “You come to your country to try to rest and spend time with your family and from the moment you enter you encounter disdainful officials.”
The face and left leg of the passenger suffered injuries due to the angry attitude of Sánchez, who would have used his position to attack the traveler and because of this violated the principle of respect and service.
