Drivers report that a heavy-duty vehicle was left crossed on the road when one of its front tires was left inside a ditch in the sector known as Solla in Girón, Santander.
Only motorcycles and small vehicles that have used the platform to follow their path are those that travel through the section between Centroabastos and El Palenque that connects the North of Bucaramanga with Girón and Floridablanca.

Drivers who are at the site indicated that when the driver made the right turn from north to south, after leaving the parking area, he took the separator and his front axle got stuck in the rainwater collector.

Road users stated that this is not the first time that this has happened with heavy-duty vehicles leaving the industrial zone of Girón.
“When they make the turn to take the ring road, they have been trapped in that sewer, which is a hole. We have to analyze whether it is a lack of skill on the part of the drivers or whether that ditch is poorly located, I think it is both,” said a witness.

The passage through the place is blocked while the authorities of the Girón Transit Secretariat go to the site of the congestion to address the situation.
For now, drivers are recommended to take alternate routes such as Calle 45 towards Campo Hermoso or the road in La Cemento towards the northern area of Bucaramanga.
