Explicit messages against illegal gambling
One of the most compelling points in the initiative refers to the obligations that both gambling rooms and gambling portals with effects in the Province must comply with. In this case, the obligation to “provide Self-Exclusion request forms and a record of lifting the restriction” is indicated; to “prohibit the entry or stay in all gambling rooms, or, where applicable, access to all gambling portals with effects in the Province, of people registered in the Self-Exclusion Registry”; “Provide collaboration by facilitating the Enforcement Authority to carry out campaigns linked to the application of this Law, allocating at least ten percent (10%) of its advertising to campaigns with explicit messages against illegal gambling and prevention of gambling addiction”; and “articulate advertising, social, cultural, sports or recreational actions with sports associations of the Province, in order to raise awareness and sensitize about problem gambling.”
