To take advantage of the school break, from July 10 to 19, the Villa Mercedes complex will offer a series of free recreational and sports activities for children from 6 to 12 years old.

One of the axes of the Province’s sports policy is the popularization of sports, that is, that more people practice sports or do physical activity. That is why the sports schools in La Pedrera Park will not rest during the winter break. From July 10, they will operate daily from 2:30 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. in the Movimentum space in Villa Mercedes park. Registrations must be made at that same place from July 3 to 5, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

Those who wish to practice the different sports disciplines and recreational activities must complete a registration form attaching photocopies of the child’s and guardian’s ID, and the physical fitness certificate (Health Book).

Professor Verónica Domínguez, in charge of the sports schools at La Pedrera Park, said that “the activities that will be carried out will be guided and coordinated by the team of teachers from the Sports Department. Recreational and sports activities will be carried out so that children can enjoy the winter holidays.”

“We ask those who are going to attend to bring comfortable clothing for physical activities, water and a small snack to share among the attendees before the end of each day,” he added.

It is worth noting that the Park offers sports activities throughout the year for children, young people and adults alike, with proposals that bring together sports such as badminton, recreational boxing, hockey, newcom and table tennis, in addition to recreational activities such as healthy walks, functional walking and running, among others.
