Eduardo Gómez González, leader of Canirac, is confident that the new administration will continue with the projects that had already been agreed upon with the business chambers.

In an interview with the local leader, he said that regarding what is coming in the sector for the second half of the year “we are working on that, we have to see the change of government to be able to follow up on the projects that were supported by the Trust for the Promotion and Development of Companies of the State of Tabasco. Gonzalez Gomez said that this supervision is done in conjunction with the Business Coordinating Council “there are some procedures that have to be done.” He explained that although no delays are expected “the dates may be extended a little because the transition period must be orderly and calm so that it is done well.”

It is worth mentioning that one of the chambers that has been closely following the change of government is Canirac and is optimistic about continuity. Regarding the upcoming holiday season, the leader mentioned that a significant increase is expected.

It is said that a percentage higher than 70 percent is the best that the sector could be seeing. One of the municipalities where the increase in employment and services is being recorded is Paraíso, which currently maintains 70 percent hotel occupancy.
