Latin America has “never been so disintegrated”: former Colombian president Samper

Montevideo, Jul 3 (EFE).- Former Colombian President Ernesto Samper (1994-1998) said on Wednesday that Latin America “had never been so disintegrated” and “needed integration so much” as now and, aligned with the also former Uruguayan president José Mujica (2010-2015), called to “rebuild the institutionality” of the regional multilateralism. This was stated in a conversation with the press at the headquarters of the Latin American Integration Association (Aladi) in Montevideo by the former president, who was in charge of presenting there the Diploma in Integration of Latin America and the Caribbean of the Escenarios Corporation, the Development Bank of Latin America-CAF and the Externado University of Colombia.
