Open Parliament for Judicial Power Reform is an Absurd Show: Villegas

Judge Luis Villegas announced that he has followed the open parliament held on the occasion of the Judicial Reform and from his perspective, there are no proposals to improve the times for resolutions.

“It is absurd that you are going to consult on something that you are not going to approve and that the next legislature is going to approve something that they did not consult on,” he said.

Villegas Montes also said that there is a considerable learning curve, since it involves removing all those who currently make up the judiciary.

Regarding Yazmin Esquivel’s request to Minister Norma Piña to leave the presidency of the Court, the jurist said that it is an absurd show.

Finally, he said that the judges of amparo will become decorative, since the resolutions for violations of rights by the authority will be in favor of the government.
