Walter Vuoto visited the Winter Operation Coordination and Monitoring Center
Mayor Walter Vuoto led the visit to the Winter Operation Coordination and Monitoring Center to verify the work being carried out in order to optimize resources and guarantee the cleanliness and maintenance of the road network in the city.

USHUAIA.- Vuoto highlighted “the importance of working with the use of technology, and in a coordinated manner between the different areas of the municipality to centralize the information and carry out monitoring instantly and, thus, respond as quickly as possible to the demands of the residents regarding the work that comprises the winter operation.”

Likewise, the heads of the Secretariat of Planning and Public Investment, together with the Ushuaia Neighborhood Care Center (CAVUSH) and Civil Defense, explained the methodology of the work they are carrying out between the areas to ensure road safety in all sectors of the city.

Vuoto stressed the importance of working with the use of technologies.

During the meeting, officials showed how the Monitoring Center is permanently connected through the GPS system with the machines and equipment of the municipality and contracted, to verify the location of each one of them and through the Civil Defense cameras provide visual monitoring.

The visit was attended by Deputy Mayor Gabriela Muñiz Siccardi; Councillors Laura Ávila and Yesica Garay; and their peers Nicolás Pelloli and Gabriel de la Vega.
