The production company Onza Américas and the Mexican BH5 Studios reached an agreement to collaborate in the development and co-production of new television series as well as the production of remakes of titles from BH5 Studios in Spain.

Both companies, along with Rodrigo Trujillo, founder of BH5 Studios, collaborated on the first season of Brava Island for ViX. This agreement was reached during the filming of the second part in Madrid.

The companies (which will work in both Mexico and Spain) are also developing another joint series project: a drama that explores the complex universe of addictions. They are also in the process of adapting the script for the Spanish market of the Mexican film. We’ll see from BH5 Studios.

“Our first experience working together with Onza on the series Brava Island “For the ViX platform, it has been exceptional. Their professionalism, principles and commitment to the audiovisual industry align perfectly with our vision. Achieving the consolidation of this strategic alliance with professionals like Onza strengthens our ability to create and produce quality television series, as well as expanding our borders to the Spanish market,” said Trujillo.

For his part, Gonzalo Sagardía, CEO of Onza, added that “it is a real pleasure to reach this agreement with Rodrigo and BH5 Studios. Harvey Grisalez and I worked together with him on the executive production of Brava Island and is, without a doubt, one of the most outstanding producers in Mexico. His vision, creativity and commitment to projects are remarkable, as is his knowledge of the Mexican market as a whole.”
