This morning, Dr. Rubén Darío Golía received the Director of Cooperation and Community Participation of the Province, Rosana Merlo, in his office, as part of a work day related to the operation of the School Cooperatives.

The Mayor celebrated “the opportunity that Governor Axel Kicilloff has given us to work jointly between the Municipality, the District Headquarters and the School Council to improve education.

The participation of families and the educational community of each institution, starting with the School Cooperatives, is fundamental for supporting the learning process of students. The Provincial and Municipal States, the school and the family are fundamental pillars for the organization of society, that is why we are satisfied to have a Province and a General Directorate of Culture and Education present, investing and supporting, always encouraging us to continue working to advance in educational matters,” said Golía.

For her part, Merlo stated that “our Directorate is designed to work with communities, which is why we always work on implementing joint strategies. The School cannot do it alone, it is part of the community and needs it to understand its reality and support it in the joint responsibility of guaranteeing students’ access to the right to Education,” said the official.

Also present at the office were the Deputy Director of School Cooperation, María José Parejo, the District Chief, Andrea Castronuevo and the School Counselors Liliana Andriola, Juan Ignacio Millán, Ignacio Suárez and Ruth Williams.
