This year, the proposals were developed based on the STEAM approach, an educational strategy to promote the presentation of comprehensive curricular proposals, taking initial, advanced and scientific literacy as a cross-cutting axis.

The activities invited students, teachers and families from institutions throughout the province to participate.

The supervisor Rose Guerracommented “we are in this instance of Science Fairs, we have invited two special schools that came to participate. It is a very important instance where the children have presented their projects from the STEAM Approach, a new work methodology that seeks for children to learn to work in an interdisciplinary, collaborative, independent and creative way from Science, Technology, Art and Mathematics. Works promoting the environment and others that were very creative have been highlighted.”

Lorenzo, a 2nd grade student at School No. 256 in the Province of Santa Fe, said: “I thought the fair was great. We learned about the life of Bernabé Aráoz, an Argentine military and political leader; we want to continue learning about his story.”

Belén Rivadeneira, a student at the Lucas Córdoba School, said “My teacher told me that I had to talk about the Argentine National Emblem. It was very nice to participate.”

Finally, Giovanni Navarro, a student at Colegio Santo Tomás, concluded: “I thought it was great to participate today, everything was very nice and well organized. We showed to raise awareness in society about the moderate use of plastic bags and the damage they are causing. At first I was nervous, but then I was calmer.”
