MADRID, 4 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

BBVA has received an award recognizing the entity as the best digital bank in Italy in the awards organized annually by the publication ‘Milano Finanza’ together with the channel ‘CNBC Class’, the bank reported in a statement.

The award ceremony, held at the Istituto dei Ciechi in Milan, was attended by Ignacio de Loyola Gil Puértolas, business and product director for BBVA in Italy, and Francesco Finucci, senior manager of Business Development for BBVA in Italy.

“We are committed to offering our customers a digital banking experience based on convenience, with the aim of making their lives easier. And this award motivates us to continue improving and exceeding our expectations,” said Gil Puértolas.

This year, BBVA managed to surpass 500,000 customers in Italy, a milestone on which they will pivot to launch a similar digital banking model in Germany in 2025.
