Cristina Seguí, the far-right agitator and co-founder of Vox, has been sentenced to a prison term of 15 months in prison for publishing a video in which two minors appear when they were 12 and 13 years old in 2022 They reported a Gang rape in the Valencian town of Burjassotthereby revealing his identity. She had not recorded or captured the video herself, but rather obtained it and subsequently sent it to Seguí.

The case was reported in May last year and four of the five authors accepted sentences of between three and five years of confinementalthough one of them was not liable for being under 14 years of age.

According to the sentence, the text was written and distributed “with the intention of belittling and denigrating” these minors publicly, which it achieved, so that one of the girls saw the psychological situation suffered by the sexual assault aggravated as a result of the video being seen by third parties whom she did not have in her circle of contacts on Twitter and without their knowledge or consent“, according to the sentence that the Superior Court of Justice of the Valencian Community has provided to EFE.

That same day, Seguí attended the program State of alarm, where he showed and commented on the video under the title Debunking the false Burjassot herd, with Cristina Seguí. However, at the request of the State Agency for Data Protection, the video was removed from social networks and the links are disabled.

The consequences of what happened had repercussions on the minor’s condition, who suffers from post-traumatic stress aggravated by the dissemination of the video, had to change schools and is receiving psychological treatment, according to the sentence, which can be appealed before the Provincial Court within a period of 10 days.
