Madrid, Jul 4 (EFECOM).- Spanish energy company Repsol has sold its photovoltaic project specialist Prejeance Industrial to French real estate group Altarea for 140 million euros, including some 25 million in goodwill and 115 million in solar plants in operation, construction or development.

Prejeance Industrial will be consolidated in Altarea’s accounts from the second half of the year, the buyer announced in a press release on Thursday, thus strengthening its platform for developing photovoltaic installations in France as part of the new segment of activities in its roadmap.

Founded in 2019, Prejeance Industrial is a French company specialising in the development of small to medium-sized rooftop photovoltaic projects, ranging from 100 to 500 kilowatts peak (kWp), mainly on agricultural sheds.

Its team of 18 people is involved in all stages of the solar project life cycle, from development to construction, asset management and financing or refinancing.

As of the end of June, the company owned and operated a total installed capacity of more than 42 megawatts peak (MWp), located entirely in France. EFECOM
