The campaign will be active in 19 branches of the chain

“Everyone’s commitment can alleviate #TheOtherCold,” Coto said.

For the third consecutive year, the supermarket chain has joined the triple-impact winter campaign organized by the Argentine Advertising Council together with the Espartanos Foundation, Restorative Justice, RedActivos, Amigos en el Camino and Caminos Solidarios Argentina.

There are 19 Coto branches in CABA and GBA that were chosen for their location and flow of public. There, from July 3 to August 23, there will be points available for people to leave their empty and clean milk or yogurt packets. They will then be reused to make insulating protectors that will be given to homeless people.

“The campaign, which is now in its 5th edition, had very positive results in 2023 with more than 580 thousand sachets collected, which has allowed the manufacture and distribution of insulating protectors since the first cold days of this year,” said Coto.

The goal is for customers to leave their milk or yogurt sachets empty and clean.

To take part in this initiative, clean sachets can be left in containers specially identified with the campaign and located at the Central Cash Desk of the following branches of the chain:
