A great BMX and freestyle rap event is coming to La Fosa

The Sports and Youth Coordinators of the Salto Municipality, BMX and rappers from Salto invite you to an event that will take place this Sunday, July 7th starting at 2 pm at La Fosa, a track located in the Plazoleta de los Recuerdos, next to the port of Salto.

It will be an afternoon full of activities and proposals, such as a BMX competition with participants from Argentina and Uruguay, rap battles, artists, a stage with a giant screen, calisthenics and an entrepreneurs’ fair.

It is worth noting that Mateo Lluberas will be present. He is a member of the Uruguayan BMX team and will soon participate in the World Championship in Russia and the Pan American Championship in Chile.

Eduardo Varela Minutti, Youth Coordinator, invited young people from Salto to attend and said that “we are going to experience culture and sport to the fullest, in an event that will attract many young people not only from Salto but also from outside the department.”


In addition, the Sports Coordinator of the Municipality, Rafael Sosa Pintos, reported that, during the July holidays, from 2 to 4 pm, the free BMX school is operating in La Fosa. It is open to those who wish to learn more about this sport can attend with their bicycle.
