In the reopened Rivadavia Hall, The City Council held its ninth ordinary session, with awards, returns, several approved projects and some harsh disagreements and even the rejection of proposals, such as expressing satisfaction for the sanction of the Bases Law.

The session continued with the majority rejection –and with harsh clashes between the councilors- of a communication project presented by the Ahora Olavarría block that sought to declare the body’s “satisfaction” with the “recent approval by the National Congress of the Bases Law.”

Finally, he discussed another communication project from Ahora Olavarría that sought to declare “satisfaction” with the “prompt implementation of the National Literacy Plan.” However, based on a motion from the UCR block, it was sent to the Education and Legislation committees.
