CÓRDOBA, 6 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food, Luis Planas, stated this Saturday that the future Army Logistics Base (BLET) to be installed in the capital of Cordoba will represent “a second great moment of impetus for Cordoba, our province and our city, looking to the future”, just as the arrival of high-speed trains in 1992 was.

At a press conference in Córdoba, Planas, who was accompanied by the Government’s sub-delegate in Córdoba, Ana López, stressed that the public job offer of 330 specific positions for the BLET, “together with the 150 derived from previous calls”, plus “the approximately, according to the latest evaluations, 500 million that the Government of Spain is going to invest in the construction of this Logistics Base” are a “first-rate strategic commitment to Córdoba”.

For the minister, “this commitment by the Spanish Government to the future of this Logistics Base involves not only facilities for our Army but much more,” because there is “industry, technology and, therefore, wealth.” “As a Cordoban and as a member of the Spanish Government, I feel particularly proud,” as it is a “new impetus for the future,” he added.
