Tegucigalpa, Honduras.

The renowned Honduran engineer Adolfo Lionel Sevilla Gamerowho was currently president of the Association of Farmers and Ranchers of the East (ADAGO), died early this Saturday morning, July 6th, of natural causes at his residence.

Sevilla Gamero, who also served in positions such as Minister and Deputy Minister of Defense and Director of the National Agricultural Development Bank (Banadesa), also served at one time as president of the Rotary Club.

Sevilla was also known as a great activist of the Liberal Party of Honduras, being director of the National Telecommunications Commission (Conatel) during a liberal government.

Through social media, different sectors of society expressed their grief at his passing.

This Saturday his wake will be held at the ADAGO facilities and later the time and place of his burial will be confirmed.
