Lidl has issued an important warning to all its customers. The German supermarket chain, which has undergone important changes in recent years such as the introduction of its customer card and the expansion of this supermarket both online and on social networks, has also caused some problems for both the authorities and the supermarket chain itself.

A few days ago, an attempted scam was detected. Coinciding with the sales and the holiday period, Lidl has put its already famous kitchen robot back on sale, as well as other promotions that generate a lot of traffic with its customers.

But the truth is that it has caused some confusion. A few days ago, users used social media to warn of having received several fraudulent emails in which data was requested in exchange for large discounts.

The company itself has responded by explaining that:

-Supermarkets like Lidl will never ask you for data in exchange for discounts beyond their official networks

-Be careful when inserting your card and only do so on the store’s official website when you go to buy something.
