Chihuahua.- The Plaza del Ángel in the city of Chihuahua witnessed a monumental spectacle during the celebration of the Bicentennial of the State of Chihuahua, which attracted a crowd of nearly 20 thousand people.

The grand concert, which featured the stellar participation of Emmanuel and Mijares, marked the beginning of a series of events organized by the Chihuahua Ministry of Culture to commemorate two centuries of history and tradition.

From the early hours, attendees were delighted by a variety of musical talents, including the Chihuahua State Philharmonic Orchestra (OFECh), Jazzteño Band and Los Titos, who thrilled the audience with songs such as “Cuadros de la Revolución” and the traditional “Corrido de Chihuahua.”

The climax of the night came with the appearance of Emmanuel and Mijares, who captivated the audience with a medley of their most recognized hits, such as “Bella señora,” “Si me Tenías” and “Tengo mucho que aprender de ti.” Mijares expressed his excitement at participating in such a significant date for Chihuahua, while Emmanuel highlighted the importance of loving and respecting local roots and history.

The evening concluded with a spectacular fireworks display, raising the spirit of identity and pride among the state’s inhabitants, and strengthening the sense of community and belonging.
