The update of the guidelines of the Rapid Business Opening System (SARE) was unanimously approved, with the aim of simplifying the procedures for new establishments.

The Director of Economic Development, Jorge Antonio Willy Portal, and the Director of Institutional Development, Gustavo Muñoz López, presented to the councilors who are members of the commissions that supervise them, the need to update the SARE guidelines, so that low-risk businesses have the option of a more simplified path.

It was proposed that anyone who is going to set up a business and whose concept is within the low-risk catalogue and also complies with the authorized land use, can obtain their operating license in less than 24 hours.

When this procedure is carried out for the first time, it is necessary to go in person to the Bank of Mexico to review the low-risk catalog.

When it comes to a renewal, it can be done online through the page www.torreon.gob.mx

For the above, it was first unanimously approved in the aforementioned committees to annul the agreement of the Council session dated March 24, 2024, which was approved during the thirty-second ordinary session of the Council, regarding the guidelines approved at the time for the Rapid Business Opening System (SARE) and the SARE Recognition and Operation Program (PROSARE).

The points will be sent for analysis, discussion and, if necessary, approval at the next Council meeting.
