The ministerial shake-up continues. On the night of Monday, July 8, it was learned that President Gustavo Petro requested the resignation of Catalina Velasco, Minister of Housing. This would be the fifth change in the National Government cabinet.

Velasco Campuzano in his resume in the academic part has a degree of economist from the University of Los Andesa Master in Public Policy from the University of Michigan, United States, a specialization in Urban Planning Law from the Pontifical Javeriana University and a PhD in Political Studies from the Externado University of Colombia.

In the workplace, it was Undersecretary of Planning and Finance of the District Secretariat of Education of Bogotá Between 2006 and 2007, he worked at the District Secretariat of Habitat Between 2008 and 2009, he was vice president of Public Services and Regulation at the Bogotá Energy Company between 2012 and 2013 and is currently a consultant in Public Policies and Urban Management.
