TIJUANA.- Drivers of the Red and Black Círculo Blanco taxis held a peaceful demonstration at the taxi stand located on 4th Street and Constitución, in protest of not being allowed to work and the cancellation of their circulation permits.

The secretary of labor of the red and black taxi union, Josean Rosalio Cisneros, mentioned that around 430 families have been left without support due to the cancellation of permits, currently there are less than 30 units circulating along the Agua Caliente corridor to Los Pinos-Presa.

He mentioned that users are also being affected, as waiting times have increased by up to an hour, due to the fact that at each site there is an IMOS unit that does not allow them to pick up passengers.

The protesters called on the authorities to allow them to work to provide for their families who depend on them.
