Artistic programme to be held in Germany in tribute to war martyrs and invalids

The Vietnamese community living in Germany will hold an art programme on July 14 to honour war martyrs and invalids on the occasion of War Martyrs and Disabled People’s Day (July 27), according to the Nhan Dan (People) newspaper.

Berlin (VNA) – The Vietnamese community in Germany will hold an art programme on July 14 to pay tribute to war martyrs and invalids on the occasion of War Martyrs and Disabled People’s Day (July 27), according to the Nhan Dan (People) daily.

Under the theme “When drinking water, remember the spring”, the event will take place at the Marzahn 17 shopping centre in Berlin, the capital of Germany.

The purpose of this event is to express gratitude for the sacrifices and merits of war invalids and fallen soldiers for the independence and freedom of the country.

Many Vietnamese women living in German cities such as Berlin, Hamburg, Dusseldorf, Hanover and Nuremberg have signed up to attend the program, where they will sing songs of love for their country and pay tribute to war martyrs and invalids./.
