The most special NATO summit begins

Today, the leaders of the 32 member states of the NATO are meeting in Washington, with the war in Ukraine as the central point of the agenda. This is a very special meeting: it will be the first one hosted by Mark Rutte; the 75th anniversary of the organization is also being celebrated; and all eyes will be on Joe Biden’s performance. It is expected that “key decisions” will be taken at this event and “important announcements” will be made. CNN claims that the draft of the summit’s final document will describe Ukraine’s entry into NATO as “irreversible.”
