At the request of the Attorney General’s Office, a judge with the function of controlling guarantees imposed security measures in a prison establishment on five men and three women, allegedly involved in microtrafficking activities in the center of Villavicencio, Meta.

The evidence collected by the judicial police showed that the defendants had formed an organized criminal group that sold narcotics in several strategic points of the city, including the Del Hacha and De Los Estudiantes parks and Zodiaco Street.

Among those captured by the Police and the National Army are José Gregorio Martínez Ramírez, alias “Lágrima Seca”; Freddy Alexander Flores Flores and Emili Cazulu Moya, who are said to be in charge of energizing drug trafficking and coordinating the other members of the illegal network and drug dealers.

The other defendants are Aristides Paez Gutierrez, Lhianet Isismarnavas Lara, Yohana Angelica Lopez Valencia, Diana Catherine Montaña Ocampo and Yandri Michel Ruiz Castro.

The Prosecutor’s Office charged them with aggravated conspiracy to commit crimes; manufacturing, trafficking and/or carrying narcotics, and illicit use of communications networks. None of the suspects accepted the charges against them.
